Wicca is a very peaceful, harmonious and balanced way of thinking and life which promotes oneness with the divine and all which exists. Wicca is a belief system and way of life based upon the reconstruction .W icca is areligion with strong moral code, promises peace and harmony with the universe and offers its followers the ability to tap into a supernatural source of power to be used for the benefit of mankind. It is a nature based religion and wiccans believe that they are tapping into an energy source that is naturally occurring in the world around us, and merely needs to be channelled in the right direction.

Paganism is the ancestral religion of the whole of humanity. Pagan religions all recognise the feminine face of divinity. A religion without goddesses can hardly be classified as Pagan. Some Pagan paths, such as the cult of Odin or of Mithras, offer exclusive allegiance to one male god. But they do not deny the reality of other gods and goddesses, as monotheists do. (The word 'cult' has always meant the specialised veneration of one particular deity or pantheon, and has only recently been extended to mean the worship of a deified or semi-divine human leader.)

"Druid" was a kind of pagan "priest" and that Druidism was a pagan "religion.".Walking the Druid path as individuals in modern society, we are faced with one encumbering impediment: How do we devise a way of worship which emulates the feelings already embedded within our hearts? By following our hearts and studying the history of our predecessors we can reconstruct enough to give us a solid basis in which to build our own philosophy our own Druidism. Druidism is far from what most people would expect in todays society. These assumptions are made blindly and without just cause. With an open mind and a little reading one can easily find the reason why we choose to follow Druidic philosophy today.

Occult Sciences is a spiritual system that fosters the free thought and will of the individual, encourages learning and an understanding of the earth and nature thereby affirming the divinity in all living things.   Most importantly however, it teaches responsibility.   We accept responsibility for our actions and deeds as clearly a result of the choices we make.   We do not blame an exterior entity or being for our shortcomings, weaknesses or mistakes.   If we mess up or do something that brings harm to another, we have no one but ourselves to blame and we must face the consequences resulting from those actions. 

Difference between Wicca and Druidism

Druids were Celtic priests of about 2,000 years ago who led their people in the worship of pagan gods through ritual human and bull sacrifices generally performed in oak groves. The oak trees were a symbol of their primary god and mistletoe in them was a symbol of his fertility. The mistletoe was harvested with bronze sickles in special ceremonies and then used as a cure for all sorts of ailments and diseases, especially infertility.

Celtic druidism was replaced over most of its area by Christianity. Early converts believed that Jesus was a druid. They converted because they believed the Christian missionary "druids" performed better magic than the local druids. They continued to worship pagan gods under the guise of Christianity by simply adding "St." before the name of their god. Some of these Christian sects lasted for over 1,000 years before they were wiped out in the Christian witch hunts of the Middle Ages.

In other areas, the worship of oak trees continued for longer. One notable example is the worship of Thor among Scandinavians.

Wicca is a modern religion that was loosely inspired by ancient Druidism and other pagan religions. There are no direct ties. Wiccans do not perform human or bull sacrificies. They generally revere nature and believe in the ability to work minor spells. These minor spells have about as much in common with the prayer requests of other modern religions as they do with the practice of ancient pagan religions.
